Subject: Is the AgLeader Edge really that bad?

Central Illinois
Looking to get our feet wet in Assisted steering (Ontrac2 or2+ with Omnistar signal) and went to one of the winter farm shows to get
some info. Talked to a dealer who dealt with AL stuff and when I asked him about the edge monitor he said "I don't want to call it a bad
unit but I can understand why they (AgLeader) are replacing it so quickly".

Seems this dealer had some troubles with setting them up and from some of the threads here on AT the Edge needs to be tweaked some to get
it to work. Anybody really pleased with the Edge for autosteer? or is the versa worth waiting for (this dealer was hoping to have the Versa
at the show but didn't have one).

We're not really into the Autoswath or rate control stuff, just want the steering in the spring and yield monitoring in the fall.

Brian
