Illinois | My planter tractor has marginal hydraulic capacity to keep the vac fan running at a sufficient speed to maintain vac at the recommended 15-18 inches when raising or lowering the planter. The vac can drop to 6-8 inches while raising or lowering the frame. Does anyone have experience with a similar situation and have a feel for how low the vac can drop while turning on the ends with out dropping seed off the disk and creating a skip. Once the planter is in the ground, the vac will recover to the desired range in 5-7 seconds. I called PP and they could not answer this question. TIA | |
