| This past x-mas I talked my grandma into selling me my grandpa's 1st new tractor. My 2 sons and I are planning on restoring it for their 4-H project. The tractor is a Allis Chalmers D-17 series I diesel , it was my grandpa's 1st tractor and the 1st diesel tractor our local impliment dealer ever sold. The last time we used it was 10 years ago and hasnt been ran since. I know what it will cost me to get it painted but just wondering what I should do first when I try to start the tractor after not running for 10 years. Besides simple things, oil filtrs ,oil ,fuel, filters,etc. what should I do first ? | |
