Southern Missouri | I am working on finishing up my basement and had a question on the doors because I have a low ceiling. Doors usually come in 80" height, but I need something closer to 76". What is the best way to go about this? Get a slab and cut it to fit? Then I also have to build the door jamb and cut out for handle and hinges. Get solid door and cut off bottom few inches? Or would custom doors be cheap enough to not have the hassle with messing with 80" doors? Would like to purchase doors from home improvement store, not lumber yard. TIA! | |
