Subject: Use part of last name to find people in town?

East central Iowa

I've got a number of links to phone search places that find people. I know one of them allows you to put in part of the last name, the town and the state.  It will then find everybody in that town with the last name starting with those letters.

Example

Sm*, Clarence, IA

Should find everybody in Clarence, Iowa whose name starts with the letters Sm.  It worked to find somebody when you didn't know how to spell their last name.

I can't find that link or that site.  I'm tired of looking.  Do any of you know of such a site?
