Subject: 252 GPS into 2600 Part number needed...

East Central Ia
I see this topic has been covered quit a bit when I did a search... I just wanted someone to clarify what part numbers I need.

I have an MX 305 with factory Accuguide, using a Case branded 252 on Omnistar.

I need to get GPS from this setup into a JD 2600.

I think I have the correct Trimble cable to plug into port "C" I think... behind the seat by the Nav II controller. It has a 12 pin Duetsch connector, a 12v lighter plug (which I was told won't be needed for power) and a 9 pin serial.

I can get the part number later on that cable.

What cable do I need to go from that to the JD cable. I see the JD cable has a 9 pin serial connector... I assume thats where I need to get the GPS signal too?

And then I need to configure the NAV II to output the signal correctly... 6 decimal places instead of 8? What messages does it need?

Thanks!
