The stock market is sliding, farm commodities are falling and unemployment is rocketing. I'm not making any new purchases of anything major. I am frankly afraid. Interest payed is basically nothing, my stocks are worth less today than I invested. Corn and soybeans are not going to yield like they did 2 years ago. Fertilizer is higher, fuel is higher, insurance is higher and property tax is higher. I can't believe that people are still buying cars, big appliances and big screen tv's. |
