Minneota, MN | I'm starting to do research on converting my John Deere Apex database into SMS Advanced (Apex software is complete junk). I have 12 years worth of harvest data and I'm curious if anyone else has experience converting several years' worth of data. My main goal with SMS is to be able to query across prescription maps and harvest maps to determine if variable rate planting and/or fertilizing pays off in different management zones.
I've also been told I can do everything in SMS (so I can completely skip using Apex) and use it to create prescriptions and save to card for planting, import harvest data, etc.
