Subject: Crop observations from eastern North Dakota to SE Minnesota

EC ND
Made a trip down to Minneapolis this weekend driving down I-94. Starting about 20 miles east of Fargo, ND until about Alexandria, Mn the crop looks very good. From Alexandria down to Minneapolis, the crop starts to look tough. Went down by Rochester, Mn in the southeastern part of the state to look at a cornheader and the crop south of Minneapolis from Inner Grove Heights, MN to Rochester looks amazing. Good luck to you guys to finishing off a good crop. On the way home the fields get pretty depressing as you get to the red river valley just east of Fargo and going back home 80 miles nw of Fargo. The soybeans look terrible up here and you have to look pretty hard to find a corn field that is nice across the whole field.
