Subject: no-tilling into stalk stomped corn stalks

south cenral kansas
Has anyone had experience no-tilling into stalk stomped corn residue. We no-till everything but are eating up tires so fast. I wondered how planting back into the stomped residue would work because you won't always be going the same way the combine did. I am sure it is much better than running over the old row, but was wondering what other peoples experiences have been. Thanks, Ryan
