Subject: Drainage systems overloaded

Central Minnesota
Traveled acrossed the parts of three counties and today the local drainage systems are backed up. One farmer told me that water is now coming back up out of the tile intakes. Many new lakes to stay awhile as the ditches are up to the top. The water from the eastern part of the county enters into the large Crow River System which drainages a large part of central Minnesota. This also joins the Mississippi. Were so wet that everything just runs off and pools now. You can see the crop going backward from wet feet. Beans are turning yellow fast.
