IL | Don't know what kind of number to put on it, but we were floating out of the fairgrounds at Des Moines tonight. Nickle to quarter size hail for at least 10 min. and then a downpour for, what seemed like, a long time. Water was running thru the barn as the gutters couldn't keep up..The street on the south side floated us out about bumper deep. Got on the road to the hotel, kept testing the brakes to dry them out. Hope we can get the trailer out of the field south of the grounds tomorrow.
Same thing happened this morning, and part of the barn was flooded for a while | |
