Subject: 750 auto pilot and UD+ Monitor

Oswald No-Till Farm Cleghorn, IA
Greetings,

Yesterday I was hooking up the NEMA out of the Nav controller on my 750 driven AutoPilot system. It would work with my AL Advantage but when hooked up to the GPS connection on the CNH UD+ planter monitor, it would drop the AutoPilot. I used the AL Advantage to monitor the output stream.

The UD+ would work with my AG122 and would work with a Garmin (117?) puck WAAS GPS I built. The AL Advantage would work with all three GPS but as soon as the UD+ was hooked up to the Nav controller it dropped. Unhook that connection and AP would come back up.

I used to have no problems with the EZ500/EZ Steer when hooked up to the same UD+ monitor.

Not sure what approach to take I guess I could run double GPS with the Garmin to feed the UD+ and 750 for AP. It just seems to be a messy install.

Any ideas?

Tom
