Iowa | My house in town (still on the market) has a garage door opener that I installed about 5 years ago. The infared sensors went out this past winter - does anyone know how to bypass them for the short term. I'm renting it to a relative right now - it does have a safety if it hits an obstruction - I know it'll have to be fixed before I sell the house but I'd like him to be able to use the remote as opposed to having to hold the wall unit button down. I priced some sensors - they're almost as 1/2 much as a new door opener - ouch. | |
