| what is the advantage of big wheeled single wheel sprayers over a tandem sprayer with wagon wheels 11L15 tires? looking at used sprayers and need to decide between going with big wheel or tandem; everything else equal, tandem is 1/3 less; 7500 comp to 10k which is significant. is it just a clearance advantage?
we only grow 400 acres of corn and beans, don't spray our hay ground and will average 2 trips across the land or about 800 acres total for the year. some 30" beans and some drilled. will be hyd fold with 60' boom.
we have to replace our old spray rig that died.
