the tractor with smaller dia tires pull with the drawbar (or 3 point) more than the larger dia tires.
i ask this becasue we keep getting larger hp tractors (that in turn have larger tires) and they dont seam to pull any more
started with
9230 cih 230hp 18.4 38 tires pulled 16 row sidedresser ok
stx 325 325 hp 18.4 46 tires pulled 16 row sidedresser ok
currlenty have
9220 325 hp 18.4 46 tires pulled 16 row sidresser good
9320 375 hp 18.4 50 tires
both pull 40 jd air seeder great
and both pull 16 row one tripper about the same some times the the 9320 will pull .5 mph faster (same field same depth)
i would have thought 50 engine hp would be more noticeable than .5 thats why im thinking im loosing torque with larger tires
