| My custom harvester has several foreign employees every year. In the past, they have employed workers from Ireland, Australia, Brazil, S. Africa, Moldova, Netherlands, amongst others. They hire most of these employees through an exchange program through Ohio State University. Do young U.S. workers in the 18-25 year old range ever work overseas for farming operations to get experience? Is there a temporary work visa in your countries to allow such a thing for 6 months to a year? Do you ever have a need to hire a good farm kid? The experience would be priceless in my opinion. I ask this as I have a couple of kids that may be interested in such an opportunity in the future. Thanks for your input.
