We just completed a new pump station for a customer. It's part of a much larger project, and will tie into several sections of pipe. This little pump will pressurize about 120 acres. It's only a boost; there is enough head in the system to get the water to the meters, but this will raise the pressure to about 20 pounds. The filter is a screen type that is large enough to replace about four sand tanks. It's a whole lot easier to put one of them in than to install sand tanks, plus it doesn't weigh as much as one tank fully loaded. I'm anxious to see this engine run. It's a Deutz engine with a Cornell pump. The engine has no cooling fins; just a little radiator to cool the engine oil, which circulates through the block. I've not seen one before. We just finished the road into it, so as soon as they get fuel to the tank we can start it up.
