mid minnesota | This may sound dumb but I have never sold any crop before it was in the bin. Without getting too fancy with puts ,calls , hedges and such which I have been trying to learn and dont quite understand how it all works. If say I call Cargill or ADM what would I start to say ? I dont want to sound like an idiot when I call them. It still scares me to sell when you cant see what you have, may get hail ,frost,mud, you name it. But I never lost the whole crop in one year, but some went to insurance. Thanks for any advise | |
