Went to Bowen Il yesterday and got to see some pretty nice country. Newton-Effingham-Pana-Taylorville-Beardstown- Bowen. Nicest corn that I saw was North of Taylorville and they had some beans up too. Everyone else seems like they are in the same boat, corn from 4" tall to ground that I assume is going to corn (2009 beans) with nothing done. Going through Springfield realized where a good amount of $ is going, Department of Revenue- literally. Very ellaborate structure. All in all very nice trip.
