Alberta, Canada | Lawn mower doesn't charge. Wires had rubbed through and damaged the little diode (open) before the plug end.
This coil is not old the wires just weren't routed correctly.
Parts place can order one in for $75 or he suggested just wiring in a diode (can be bigger physically as there is lots of room) if I had one laying around the shop and it would probably be fine.
Anyone have a idea of what one could use for a diode or where I could buy one? I had a bunch of old chev altenators laying around but I see I through them all away!!
