Subject: Unbiased Yield Monitor opinions--accuracy ???

West Central, MO
How many of you guys are getting very accurate (I consider that to be 2% or less) results from your after market yield monitors--like the Edge? We're looking at either getting a weigh wagon, scales or yield monitor to give us accurate yield results. Each has advantages & disadvantages. The only time we've been around yield monitors was from riding with our custom or cash rent guys & those weren't accurate at all. So we're really on the fence with this being an economical choice for us (farming about 500 A of beans & 200 A of corn annually). The problem we see with the wagon/scale is that someone has to make sure and count every single load & it gives us no field specific data.
