Linwood, NC | I'm currently looking at a low houred JD 8100 with the 8.1L motor in it. I'm wanting to pull a Great Plains SS1300 5-shank with it, possibly a Krause Dominator 12' model. I've explored the opitions of adding a power chip to the tractor and I really like the idea. I want to know whats the differences between the 82, 83 and 8400 tractors. Are the injection pumps different, larger turbochargers? What about the drivetrains? Any help would be appreciated because I would like to make a little bit more power. Thanks | |
