NE Iowa | For the past several yrs, we have top-applied 90# of N at planting in the form of 32% dribbled right on the rows. Then came back when corn was ~ 3' tall and dribbled on another 35# of N in liq 28% form. Some yrs the sidedress seems to pay, sometimes it doesn't. This year, we are thinking of putting down 130# of N at planting in the same 32% dribbles, but adding Instinct to give it some staying power. No sidedress. I know Instinct is used with liq manure - anyone have any info on how it has worked with liq Nitrogen?
