Panhandle of Ne. | exactly when RR corn seed came on the market, but I remember trying a few bags of their, pioneer, "racehorse hybrid" and noticed a considerable yield drag. It was several years later before we tried it again and it was just as good of yield as non RR. The last 2 years of low yields and really poor bu. weight has me wondering again. Of course, if we don't start having a summer again instead of an extended spring, it probably won't matter. | |
