Subject: Lights for HID Conversion?

Would the lights just above the feederhouse on like a 9870 work to put the Raptor kits into? I know they are a different part number from the rear fender lights on a 8x30 tractor, but they look kind of similar. Plus they are a little cheaper. TIA
