Subject: GOOD RIDDANCE OCTOBER OF 2009

Mascoutah, Illinois
Well October, we really hate to see you go. It was lovely in this area as we used RON JEREMY to measure the rainfall. (14 inches or so, you get the picture.) Almost all of the beans were planted the last week of June and the first week of July in this neck of the woods. We had one of the wettest springs on record, one of the ten coolest July's on record, the second coolest October on record, and we smashed the 1919 record of October precipitation by over five inches.

I was watching the Weather Channel on Thursday and saw something I couldn't fathom. Some areas in Arkansas picked up over 30 inches of rain in October. On a normal year, the yearly total is around 35 inches. Unbelievable!!!

A nice stretch of dry days are forecast, buy you cannot even walk across your yard.

BEST OF LUCK TO EVERYONE!!! STAY SAFE!!!
