Subject: Bean report from New York

Newfane NY
30 miles east of Niagara Falls NY

From 50 to 65 bpa over scales. Dry.

From 15% to 20% moisture. We are drying thru an M-C 975 with top burner at 120 degrees and bottom one cooling.

I'm happy so far. The worst looking field did 50 bpa. County average is 32, I think.

Corn hand shelled at 29% which makes it 34% out the combine. We will do beans as long as we can then go to corn.

All moistures are NORMAL for us this time of year.

We always dry beans at the start of harvest

John
