Macon, IL | Finally got dry enough here to take the kids for a 4-wheeler ride yesteday. Between Thanksgiving and now we have 1 terrace that has been INVADED by groundhogs. Not sure how many but there must be 20 holes-some of them 2ft across-big piles of dirt everywhere. It is so bad I am concerned if we get a big rain that water will run down some of those holes clear to the middle of the terrace and cause a real problem.
I can't sit out there 24x7 with 30-30 waiting for them so what is the best way to get rid of them?
1) "Spill" of old treated seedcorn?
2) Trap (I have some but what to use as bait)?
