Subject: Corn Residue-To stalk chop or fall tillage??

NW Iowa-Lyon
I am just wondering if anybody has done this or not. I am trying to figure out how to get that residue broken down the quickest way possible. Will stalk chopping instead of disking the stalks under or just disk them under. Reason asking because last year couldn't do any fall tillage and the corn stalks were just horrible because none of them broke down. Also what I am afraid of by stalk chopping them that all that shredded residue is going to blow away which I don't want to happen. Any advice will be complete appreciated.
