| As I'm getting the combine ready for the upcoming harvest season , I'm reminded of the terrible plugging I had of my concaves last year during corn harvest.
Here's my situation: 1666, specialty rotor with Gordon bars, every other wire pulled on concaves, every possible combination of concave clearance and rotor speed, 165 bushel wet corn(25-28%), and temps. in the mid thirties during the day.
I've never had this happen to me with this combine, but it was very annoying that I could not reduce this plugging.
Any ideas? | |
