Subject: Do I have damage from late application of roundup?

Danville, Illinois
The U of I crop sciences department thinks I have damage from a late application of roundup. My seed agronomist agrees with the U of I (no brainer there). My fertilizer company says no way that roundup did this. the corn was planted on May 23, roundup wasn't sparayed until June 29th. He did not use drops on his sprayer. According to most charts the corn should have been about V10. Fertilizer guy says that according to growing degree days it was V8. The ears have 16 to 18 rows of kernels with about 22 kernels per row then it constricts down to about 8 rows of kernels for another 10 kernels per row. It is clear he is not going to be willing to make a claim on this field. Am I SOL now???
