Cherokee County, Northwest Iowa | I have had a 40V Ryobi battery, charger, string trimmer and leaf blower for over 7 years now, still on original battery, which is still working great. Both items seen pretty light duty, works good for me.
Probably putting the hex on myself, but for the heck of it I looked on Amazon today to see what a new battery would cost. For every OEM Ryobi battery listed, there must be 10-12 or more "knockoffs", with the "knockoffs" roughly half the price.
Are these knockoffs any good? I have learned a long time ago you usually get what you pay for, just curious if that holds true for these after market batteries. I assumed that any experiences with any other brand of tools would be the same. Any insights will be appreciated. thanks in advance. Bruce. |
