Subject: Is a VT tool what I need?

Been looking at tillage equipment, and I think a high speed VT tool is what I might be looking for. We disc our bean stubble in the fall with a disc for weed control, and then come back and field cultivate twice with a rolling basket behind in the spring for the seed bed. Occasionally will use the disc again in the spring of some weeds get out of hand.

I’ve been looking at these VT tools with adjustable gangs: Great Plains Turbo Max, Kraus Excelerator, McFarlane Incite, Norwood Kwik Till, Case 475 Speed Tiller to name a few. Could one of these tools do all of these jobs?

I pull my cultivator and disc with a NH TJ375….. do I even have enough horse for them? I know they make at least the Speed Tiller all the way down to 21’. I’m in ECIL, so not a ton of hills.

What say you? One of these the tool for me? Which do you have? Do you like it? Do I even have enough ponies for any of them? TIA
