| So, whatcha gonna use for eye protection when you look at the eclipse tomorrow? I've seen folks use welding helmets. My local Senior Citizens group was passing out cardboard framed "eclipse glasses".....similar to something you might receive from the theatre when attending a 3D movie, but with nearly opaque lenses. Back when cameras used film, and one got the negatives back with the finished photos, I've seen folks use several layers of the darkened portion of those negatives as sunscreens.....sounded/looked hazardous to me. Might be best to wait it out, and watch it on tv tomorrow evening. , showboat | |
