I recently sold a table saw on Craigslist.  No problem, straight forward deal.  Maybe part of it was he was an engineer.

I also put an ad on Craigslist looking for an 8" jointer.  I listed the specifics so nobody would waste their time or mine.  I receive 2 responses, one just linked to my wanted ad and the other"Hey.. you still interested??   Yes I do have one for sale in very good condition."

So I responded,"Please tell me about it.  Brand.  Approximate age.  Single Phase. Helical cutter.  Length of bed.  What city.  Price
Thank you."

Then I get this:Well, I just shoot you an email with the full details on the item..
So let me know if you’re interested and then we’ll see if we can work something out..

Haven't heard from him since.  I've called on some ad's and family members aren't even aware that other family member is selling a car or what ever. 

None of this is a big deal, just odd.
