Traverse City MI | Looking at growing some beans next year. We used to grow .8 or less before but got no yield out of them. I'm going to plant with our corn planter this time around. Since we haven't done it that way before I'm looking for some advice. What population should I shoot for? These will be short day 1.6-1.8 beans. I am going to plant some on 30's and double back to plant some on 15's. What do you guys find works the best? Any pointers you can give a guy new to growing beans again? Thanks. | |
