Subject: 4995 JD vs NH Why so many more JDs?

Saronville NE
Have been kinda shopping for a new swather for next yr or yet this yr, if I came along the right deal. My question is why in the magazines and papers and such there is all kinds of 4995s advertised and hard to come by a clean low hrd used NH? I want the NH or CIH because of the airride axle and suspension cab, which JD does not have. Also personally I dont like that the Deere drives off only one end of the head, whereas the NH has a hyd motor on each end of the head to drive things better. Also dont care for one solid gearbox design like Deere uses, hit something hard nuff, could ruin the whole head instead of just a gearbox or 2. I know they say it wont hapen, but know of 2 locally that hit something with like 300-500 hrs on them and spent 7k rebuilding the head because of it. So just curious why so many JDs and not the other brands out there for used swathers?
