This is my second year seeding direct. The alfalfa sod was killed in the fall. Some has pen manure on it. I use a 7000 conservation planter. Instead of spike row cleaners I have a double disk on the front toolbar of the planter to push stalks and straw out of the way. This corn was planted April 29 and 30. North-central Pennsylvania
