1998 John Deere 1780 24 row 20-inch planter. Precision Planting vDrive, Airforce, Wavevision.

Planter has lots of upgrades as follows:

Precision Planting vDrive electric drives (variable rate/individual row shut-off). Powered by tractor electrical system, no auxiliary power unit needed (installed 2013)
Precision Planting Airforce airbags (installed 2019)
Precision Planting Wavevision seed tubes (installed 2019)
vDrive 27 hole corn disks with new style corn singulators

Keeton seed firmers and opening disks replaced in 2020
Yetter Twister spiked closing wheels on one side of each row (installed 2020)
Large 3 bushel boxes

Total Tubular in-furrow fertilizer ran by 2 squeeze pumps supplied by 2 125 gal tanks on main frame. 2x2 drip fertilizer behind closing wheel (used for 28%) ran by John Blue piston pump supplied by 600 gal tank on center frame. Both are powered by original John Deere ground drive system.

Row cleaners/Cleansweep are not included in price. I have Yetter floating combo (2967-007) row cleaners available for $200 per row . Planter is currently ran by a Precision Planting Gen2 display included.

Plants picket fence stands with 99% singulation and spacing even up to 9mph. We really like this planter and have had good success raising 20-inch corn and soybeans, just need to upgrade to a larger planter.

Planter is overall in good shape. Gauge wheel arms could be replaced. Markers are worn but were rarely used for past several years. More photos can be provided upon request.
