For sale: 1986 Freightliner day cab, tandem axle with 787,889 miles. This truck was use as a tanker for Loami Fire Department since 1997. Truck was always kept inside and maintained. We are upgrading to a newer tractor for our tanker. Truck is equipped with. Cat 3406B (350 hp), Eaton Fuller 9 speed transmission. Wheel base is 206” (17’2”), spring ride, brakes at least 50%, tires are 11R22.5, steers are virgin rubber @ 90%, drives are recaps, right side 60% & left side 2 a@ 80%, other two 30%. Not sure, but think the rear end is 4.10 gears. Everything works except wipers and air conditioning (probably needs recharged), good running old truck. Would make a good dump truck.
