BBI Grasshopper Fertilizer spreader. 10' Bed, 5-6 Ton Capacity. Will spread fertilizer and lime, although I've never tried lime with it.
Ground driven with solid tire on big tire. Dual 24" spinners with 6 vanes. Spinners are driven by hydraulic motors. Body is all stainless, spinner dishes are stainless. 16" mesh chain is in great condition, replaced pin every year. Have extra seal kits for hydraulic motors on hand. Frame and all steel surfaces were sanded and repainted each year after use. Tires and hitch are in good shape, 10 bolt axle and hubs . Good Tarp is 3 years old. This spinner has spread 2500-3000 acres of fertilizer every year for the past 6 years. It's a older BBI spreader that has performed excellent for us over the last 6 years. I called BBI with the serial # and they said it's an early Grasshopper model. Updating to a BBI that can do variable rate. $6500
