Up for sale is a highly capable, field-ready 2012 Kinze 3500 planter. We are the second owners and have run this machine reliably since 2014, averaging about 700 acres a year (estimated 10,000 total lifetime acres). We just upgraded planters, but this machine went to the field this season and everything is confirmed working and ready to plant today.

Configured for 8-row 30-inch spacing or 15-row 15-inch spacing with interplant rows.

PRECISION & TECHNOLOGY UPGRADES
Drive: Rawson hydraulic drive controlled by Ag Leader Stepper Control module.
Clutches: TruCount air row clutches (8-section, single row / dual row for interplant) controlled by Ag Leader module.
Monitoring: Ag Leader Planter Monitor Module (seed monitoring) with Ag Leader Insight monitor included.
Air: ViAir air compressor controlled by relay.
Implement switch included.

ROW UNIT SETUP
No-till coulters on all rows.
Martin floating row cleaners (rear rows).
Seed firmers on all rows.
One Martin spiked closing wheel paired with standard rubber closing wheel on all rows.
Seed box extensions on all rows.
8 corn meters and 15 soybean meters included

RECENT MAINTENANCE & UPDATES
Last Season: Parallel linkage completely re-worked with new bushings and bolts where needed.
5 Years Ago: All new opener disks installed (including inner and outer scrapers) + all new gauge wheel shafts on the rear 8 rows.

KNOWN ISSUES & CONDITION NOTES
We believe in full transparency so you know exactly what you’re hooking up to:
Hoses: Two hydraulic hoses have minor pinhole leaks and should be replaced/repaired soon.
Parallel Linkage: Planned to replace the upper arms on the rear 8 rows based on last year's maintenance; current ones are usable for a while longer, but parts would be a good future update.
Markers & Lift Cylinder: Markers have been welded/reinforced. They work fine, though we haven't used them in 4 years due to running RTK (RTK guidance not included). The lift cylinder was also welded a few years back to fix a leak and has been flawless since.
Rubber: All rubber is original (transport tires, gauge tires, closing wheel rubber) and in usable condition.

This is an incredibly honest, solid machine that will make an excellent primary planter or a high-spec second setup for an operation looking to utilize precision planting without the new-machine price tag.
