John Deere 1780 Conservation 12/23 planter. I’ve used the planter for soybeans but it can plant 12 rows at 30” spacing or 23 rows at 15” spacing. Each row has 3 bushel seed boxes, vacuum meters, heavy duty down pressure springs, 15” double disc openers, 14.25” wavy no-till coulters, Keaton seed firmers, walking gauge wheels and cast closing wheels. Planter comes with two 225 gallon fertilizer tanks but no pump and no fertilizer coulters. Ground drive seeding rate with 1/2 width disconnect clutches. Comes with John Deere fold box and Precision Planting 20/20 monitor. Monitor records population and guage wheel down pressure but does not control the planter. It’s been a good planter, but I purchased a bigger planter and need room in the barn. Add seed and go to the field with this planter.
