Built a 48 ft. bin in 2008 and have had troubles with the Sukup Power sweep every year. The sweep starts advancing and soon an avalanche of corn falls and buries the sweep which then either over loads the motor, shears pins, slips belts ect.
I have made a simple fix to remedy this problem. I no longer use this bin so I told my son I am going to sell my idea and the materials I used to make it.
