A Reddit group of Robinhood investors found out a hedge fund (Melvin Capital for sure but I believe others as well) had a bunch of short call options on and these investors have them in a short squeeze. Looks like they will completely put the Melvin Capital out of business.
Not sure who WallStreetBets is but it seems they are part of this scheme. | |
