southern MN | Here in Minnesota they want to run a pipeline from central northern Minnesota junction to the southern Twin Cities.
All the studies I saw about it, they can’t run through the pristine wilderness and forests of Minnesota and Wisconsin, and they can’t go through populated Twin Cities, so the obvious route is to make a huge J loop down and below and back up into southern Twin Cities, using worthless farm land to cross.
Don’t know if that plan is still alive, all ready installed, or what, it has been in the news for decades off and on as pro and anti groups talk about it. The only unanimous view is that it can’t go on any urban or wildlife ground at all in any way shape of form. Farm land doesn’t matter.
