Nwmo | #6 has a voltage drop of 2% at 60 ft, recommended to stay under 3%. If you put it any conduit with other circuits then you have to rework your ampacity limits.
The guys saying it is OK to put a larger breaker on than your wire can handle, are incorrect in my opinion. If something shorts your wire between the breaker and load you don't want the wire melting down, you want the breaker to trip. If you oversize the breaker you will melt down the wire and potentially cause a fire. | |
