Had a friend that had clutch work done on his 3788. Don't know how much it was, but don't think it was too bad. Not a t/a, but still don't think it will be anywhere close to 18,000. There is a nice shop around here that does great work and is cheaper than the dealer. May find one of those or can you do it your self with some help? I have a 3788 also and really like the tractor. I think the 6388 would do you well.
