NE ND | I have a Brandt heavy harrow with the 9/16 carbide tipped tines. I think it's a piece of crap. The tines are too stiff and try to run too deep thus plugging with trash. Works fine in the fall for harrowing wheat stubble, but in the spring it's almost worthless. We had a borgault before with 1/2 tines and that harrow did a great job. You could lift the harrow up vertically to just tickle the ground if need be. Worked well in all conditions.
I have no experience with the Elmer's harrow, but I think you'll be disappointed with the Brandt. | |
